Question:

Troy, Darby, Anybody with experience please chime in on this.

Will the OEM strut carts off a 07 limited fit on a 02 pre-lowered?

I have an 07 that has 9,000 miles on it and I am about to put on an Old Man Emu lift.

I also have an 02 pre-lowered with 44,000 miles on it.

When it is time to change the 02's struts and shocks, say in about 10,000 miles or so, can I just use the ones from the 07? The part numbers for them appear to be the same. Save me a few bucks for a little bit.

Struts:
02:52088650AB
07:52088650AF

Shocks:
02:52088673AE
07:52088673AC

I would also assume the rear ones are the same.

Yes, you should be able to use the shocks.

If you use the springs from the 07, it will lower the 02 though.

Im not sure what a 'strut cart' is. :?

Strut Carts are Strut Cartridges. the shocks are the carts that insert into the struts.

I know about the springs. Just wanted to hear if there was a digfference in the shock length and what not since it was lowered.
