Ok so here is the deal. As many of you know, I bought a KJ about 3 months ago and since I've had it I've had 2 window regulators fail. My rear window fell down while I was driving and the other failed as I rolled up the window.
Either way, I'm a bit ticked off since Jeep obviously has a poorly engineered part. This was confirmed when I talked to the dealer service rep and he said it was a very common problem. To give you an idea, I'm on the verge of spending $640 of my own money repairing the issue. When I had my 97 XJ I spent $200 in non-regular maintenance repairs in the five years I've owned it.
My dream goal is to get Jeep to offer to repair failed window regulators at their cost, especially in lower mileage vehicles.
In order to do that, I need some help.

Click the "send us an email link" and it will open up a form which you can use to contact Jeep. If you've had an issue with the window regulator, regardless of whether or not you've had it repaired under warranty, at your own cost or replaced/rigged a fix up yourself, please consider taking the time to report the issue to Jeep in hopes that they will listen and decide to fix the underlying issue of improving a poorly manufactured part.
Thanks!
