ok so the Magenta/hot pink is taking a bit longer to get here as the shops computers crashed. since they print and cut their own decals i have to wait for the computers to be rebuilt... it seems a surge took them out... all at the same time. however the important part is on the jeep... the wave. this is the centerpeice of it all. it didnt come out too wavy, however i love the way mark, the guy who worked on mine, made it work out with its flat edges, but soft rounds to make sure its not boxy at all. the hot pink goes on saturday! i cant wait for it. this is where we are at so far

the windows are tinted to 20% to match the rear factory tint and its just what i wanted. not too deep but not too light, just right! i will be keeping you all up to date with new pics with more light outside and pics of the magenta decals. please feel free to post questions comments concerns!

It's too bad the computer crashed before you could finish, that justs extendeds the agony, frustration and anticipation. Having the black base to start just makes the colors pop even more. I also agree the wheels need something just as origianal as your color scheme, so it still doesn't have shoes like everyone else. Keep up your origiality, Your KJ will be one of a kind. (Unless you start selling custom decal kits to others in any variation they want.)

just make sure that after their done the put a clearcoat over it. I know before you were saying that its would have to be replaced every few years. A good sealing clearcoat should stop that from having to be done

man its amazing how that indigo sky pops off your jeep in your second to last shot....that jeep really shines!! The sky color reflecting out of the black finish is sweet.

ok... so the question has been brought up tonite by a co-worker and so has the consequences of said question. Why neon pink? You know what people are going to think, dont you? out of the 230 people sa far that have glanced in at this thread i know the second question or the answer to that question has been in many of those heads. i REALLY want this jeep to stand out as you all can tell. but aside from that, i wanted it to reflect a little bit about me as the owner, and really push a boundary. most male kj owners that ive seen in person, met on this forum, or heard of want their kj to go from cute to manly, and theres not a thing wrong with that. however, i wanted to keep some level of "cute" in it after the lift and bigger tires are said and done. i also want to retain that "different" and "sporty" flair as well. in comes the neon pink. it keeps cute in the mix, clashes all night long with the blue and black, and pushes a boundary that i think no male kj owner has pushed or was willing to, making it very different.
the "people are going to think things about you" part: i think so many guys want to do something like put a neon pink sticker on their jeep, but they dont. because society says its not right, pink is a girls color. so they dont do it. my response to the "people are going to say things/ think things about you" is the day we stop trying to impress people who do nothing for us, who we dont know, who we may not even like is the day we get people who do things THEIR way instead of societys way. i press forward with teh hot pink 8)

Hey, I rock a hot pink snowboard on the mountain, brings me back to the 80's. I certainly don't care what people think, and I'm on my board more than I'm in my jeep. Besides, pink is the new black! I'm with ya KJ4ME, don't listen to any judgemental bull$@!^. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Back in the late 60s and early 70s pink and other bright colours wouldn't have raised any eyebrows at all. We've gotten more conservative since then methinks. Thanks gawd we have a few bold souls who don't mind some bright colour again. I mean, the 80s for crying out loud. Everything had to be black or silver. Jeez.

Whatever gets it done for you KJ4ME, just go for it!

I got to agree with powdrdaze, remember the '80's, and all of the hot pink custom paint on cars and trucks... Maybe KJ4Me is going to bring that back....
