Was it as hard to install as it looks?

And what do you plan on doing with those license plate holes?

Im going to buy the silver center bezel from www.jparts.com it's the same as factory installed on the Reegade ($147.59). The wife hit a pole a few months ago and i just found this part.
It took me about 1 hour to remove cover install reciever and put on cover. The hitch came withthe rivits to install it.

75 ft lbs is 50% more than 50 ft lbs...it may not hurt anything, but it puts more tension on the bolt, and its shearing strength is compromised.

Just an FYI:)

When i went to get mine the guy said they don't produce them anymore for the Liberty. He went to a place that buys thier old stock and found one . A place in Mississauga ,Ont, Canada. Where do you live i drive truck and could see if he can get another and ship it to you. Just a thought.

all depends on the size of the bolt, but whatever floats your boat. I personally wouldn't have over-torqued them. Might as well run your lugnuts up to 200 ft lbs.

25 more ft lbs isn't gonna matter on those bolts.

Thanks Dave. I've got a few front hitches left over and I P/M'd nlife. I'll need to get him a ship quote for Canada and maybe we can fit him a front receiver.

I'd like to know if it would fit with the Westin brush guard.

The way it bolts in, I doubt it. it bolts to where the stock tow hooks mount. on mine, I had to drill two more holes further back (total of 6)

$250 for THAT!?!? Wow. I think I'd find a local shop to make it.

i don't think it'll work, judging on where your brush guard goes into your bumper
