Has anyone made a base to mount their satellite radio receiver? I just started to think about a mounting place this evening. I am hoping to come up with a permanent base, that is easy to reach, solid, yet unobtrusive. I was thinking about something fiberglass in between the center air vents. |

I plan on mounting a cb and ham radio on a mount that will go into the black thingy on my 2wd Liberty where the 2wd-4wd lever would go on a 4wd version. Make any sense? I refuse to drill holes in the dash for mounts so this is the best idea I've come up with. If you are going to make something in fiberglass, that would be the place to do it. For the record on satellite radio, I got a new head unit with Sirius built in. Brad |

Thanks for the idea - they want $40 and you still have to drill 3 holes. I may try to fabricate a similar bracket and use existing holes. |
