Will the site be enabling the chat feature anytime soon? phpBB has a chat feature. Will this be possible? |

Wow this is a first for this forum....Even the admin guys didnt respond. The only reason i know about it is because i am setting up a site for my church group using phpBB and we were able to have chat on it as well. |

its cool i just didnt know if it is as simple on here as it was on my phpbb site all i had to do was go in on my admin screen and enable it. the phpbb site hosts the chat it even has the smily's and all that. once enabled it puts the link down on the bottom with who is online. With mine all I had to do was mark "no" under the Virtual Chat colum, config, and then mark no in the admin section and it was added..... |

Hey Car Nut: Keep in mind this is an all volunteer organization. There's no admin sitting in an Aerion chair waiting for the moment they are needed. |

I volunteer to be the admin in the Aerion chair. Sure beats standing for 8 hours a day on concrete like I do right now! |

Not all it's cracked up to be, btw |

I'd be happy to help out working on the site if needed. I used to mod phpbb for cash (I go to a boarding school so I can't have a job during the school year), and make websites for small businesses and gaming teams. You can see some of my stuff here: www.euphoria5.com (just click forum to view a custom theme that I made with a buddy, and we coded in a quick reply feature). -Mike |
