I just had my Liberty CRD serviced for the Lower Ball Joint recall. Prior to the fix, I the vehicle on a 1200 mile trip with no vibrations. However, after the service, the steering wheel feels different at medium to high speeds -- a little less firm and has a slight vibration between 60 and 70 MPH.

I mentioned it to the service folks when I took it back for a new MAF sensor and they balanced the tires. However, the symptoms didn't change. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Shawn

Did you get a alignment done also? They may say you don't need one but you do after the LBJ replacement, you also could try rotating the tires since the old crappy LBJ's may have worn your front tires funny and now you get a vibration with the new LBJ's.

Thanks tjkj2002. I thought about an alignment but thought that I would run it by LOST first. Again, thanks!

Yes if the lowers were loose it may of worn the tires some, and now with the new ones in its causing it to show up, rotate and alignment like tjkj said!
