Ok i posted two weeks ago about my check engine light. I checked the gas cap and run a few tanks throught it. the weather warmed up the light went out. Last night it got cold again this morning the light came on. I drive almost 100 mi a day i refueled yesterday morning. I think that if i didnt have the gas cap on all the way i would have gotten the light yesterday......Anyone else have the light come on only when it gets cold? |

my air bag light comes on when it gets cold. Could be a sensor or something. Sometimes a check engine light comes on if the engine does not heat up fast enough, pull the codes and get back with us. |

its the same code as last time 0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak detected (small leak) |

Did you check the hoses on the canister at the front of the fuel tank? That's were I found my leak. Big booty crack in the one hose on the canister nipple. Light went off after a few drives. Cost less than a buck to replace. Joe |

not yet figured i would crawl under there tomorrow. the stupid light went out last time so i figured it was just the gas cap. Thought it was weird that it only happens on cold days...may just a coinsadense... |

Ok so i got really busy this weekend and didnt check the thing out. Silly blonde...she was cute.....but that is another story. woke up this morning and went to work and the stupid light went out. I filled the tank Friday night and drove around all weekend ran about half a tank out of that. Stupid light......Any suggestions? New gas cap maybe? |
