Anyone had any electrical issues ? My 05 CRD is sitting at the dealership at the present . Smoke has cleared interior compartment but not the tech's head ! Somewere in the interior lamps circuit I have a short that they can't find. They already replaced the multi funtion switch
with no resolve . Any input would be appreciated !This only happens when interior lights are on by manual switch or door open, map light works fine.
Thanks for any help !!

Hey DARBY !
Thanks for the help. Would the blower motor recall that you suggest mess with the interior lights ? They told me when I talked last to them that after replacing the multi funtion switch that when they opened and shut the door that a different number of overhead lights each time. They also seem to think that whatever the problem is why the battery layed down on them while it sat outside a couple of days without being driven. I think the battery had other issues such as I read in other links on this forum. My dad had a REDTOP go bad on him in an 05 GT-40 last summer after having a bit of trouble with it.

Its probably just a bad BCM.

I do not think a blower motor could mess with the lights but its a recall that NEEDS to be done.
