| Post subject: | Exhaust |
Just ordered my rustys off road exhaust. 2 days later it just showed up at my door today. When I install it I will come with pics and try to do a sound video. I will be upgrading to the 50 series magnaflow Delta muffler with 2.5" pipes...Can't wait |

yeah sorry about that typo with the brand name.....anyways here's the plan for the weekend. I am going to take video and pics of what it sounds and looks like stock. then video of what it sounds like with nothing (thats gonna be fun). then picture of the two exhausts side by side. then a final video of what it sounds like with the delta 50. PS rusty's said that stock is 2.25 inch and this is an upgrade to 2.5 I am going to measure and get a real answer.....keep posting |

Rustys is not really right about the size saying its an upgrade, (it is and it isnt) the pipe going from the cats back to within a few inches of the muffler is 2.5 inches, at the neck of the muffler it goes down to 2.25, then coming out of the muffler its 2.5 all the way to the bumper. What most do is just cut right before it necks down and install a 2.5 inlet/ outlet muffler along with the stock tailpipe and you are good to go. Him saying its an up grade is pure marketing on his part. I started mine before I put the muffler on , nothing special, youre still going through 3 cats to get there Sounds like a good hour project for you this weekend! |
