Yep, thats right, Your favorite trail that leads to your favorite camping or fishing spot just got closed because some people can't seem to stay on existing trails or play by the rules. Oh You didn't know there were rules or people watching what you do? Really?

Well, how about visiting The Land Access forum to find out what is going on in Your back yard or other places you might want to visit some day.

Please Get educated & involved or Lose.

Hey talking about bad behavior. We got exactly the same sort of problems here in Denmark.

The biggest and best place for us to go play is in the military practise terrain with huge hills of sand, swamp-like lakes and miles upon miles of tank-tracks in the sand.

We used to rent it for a few weekends during a year. We have at least three offroad clubs that go there with their members and play. Most members are in all three groups just to go and play. Well not anymore, because it got closed for us this year. Some dimwitted nitwit of a knumbskull drove off the tracks and destroyed some preserved terrain the last few years. It's not just "one practise terrain" it's all of them all over Denmark. Great.

Many of us live in areas with little or no public lands within hundreds of miles, let alone 4by-able public land. We must rely on private property and pay-to-play operations.

Good point. Please don't think that because of that You (not just you but Everyone reading this) shouldn't take time to get involved in land access issues in other places. Please still join an organization like BRC or similar to help other places keep their public lands open. Heck, You never know when You just might want to take a trip to Utah, Colorado, Arizona, or other places, and get there to find that the trail you read about online is now closed.

I won't be surprised when the private lands start to be attacked too. I have read of people being told they can't do certain things on the property they own. (lease from the Gov't really) And having portions of it taken away due to mineral rights, etc.

Regardless of where we wheel, we all share in the same desire to get out and do our thing. We all need to help one another to preserve our lands for our future use.

Not to mention that private land soon becomes off limits due to liability questions. Those numbskulls that go to play in a friends backyard and does something stupid to get hurt and his lawyer goads him into sueing his ex-best-friend.

Lets be more aware and leave it better than you found it....please.
