Many of us live in areas with little or no public lands within hundreds of miles, let alone 4by-able public land. We must rely on private property and pay-to-play operations.
Good point. Please don't think that because of that You (not just you but Everyone reading this) shouldn't take time to get involved in land access issues in other places. Please still join an organization like BRC or similar to help other places keep their public lands open. Heck, You never know when You just might want to take a trip to Utah, Colorado, Arizona, or other places, and get there to find that the trail you read about online is now closed.
I won't be surprised when the private lands start to be attacked too. I have read of people being told they can't do certain things on the property they own. (lease from the Gov't really) And having portions of it taken away due to mineral rights, etc.
Regardless of where we wheel, we all share in the same desire to get out and do our thing. We all need to help one another to preserve our lands for our future use.
