Do you know this is a Jeep forum?
If its not getting any fuel then its highly likely its a bad pump. Check to make sure the filter is in good shape and check the pump to make sure its getting power/doesnt have a bad ground.

Hello members, The car is refused to start and on inspection no diesel is being pumped to the engine from the fuel tank . I am not sure if the pump ( appears to be set in the tank ) has failed and/or the electrical supply to the pump has also failed. Anybody had a similar problem or can anyone advise on what to look for next? Also, how is the fule pump accessed and replaced ? Does it require removal of the fuel tank and draining down?? Please let me know your suggestions ...............! ! Chris.. |

If it's a Ford, make sure the fuel pump cut off switch located in the trunk has not been pressed by lose cargo. It's supposed to by triggered by impact but other things can happen. I have seen people trigger it with powerful stereo systems before. |

Don't forget to check fuses to the pump. (Ford Fiesta? Diesel? - gotta be Europe) |
