http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhPEwt1xVT0 That guy will never have any trouble finding a street address on a dark street again. Too bad every one in the area would hate him. |

You can get 5 of those and mount them on a small plate, with a little pivoting hinges and do the same thing, except manually. If you are handly you can probably get a motor with radioshack remote control and wire it up as well. PLus, I don't get it, as he is driving he is pointing the lights side by side? Wouldn't it be easier if there was a switch to enable turning them according to steering wheel motion? I would assume if you spend $1500 for couple of lights, you would have that option. |

You can get the model 2020 GoLight (non-HID) for about $145 w/o the wiring harness or $165 with the wiring Harness. It won't run you $1500 to do a 4-light setup. They come with H9 65w light bulbs. There are H9 100w available online. If I had the extra cash to blow on them I'd do a 4-light setup and replace my Hellas with them and get the H9 100w bulbs. I would mount them directly to my roof and ditch the custom lightbar I currently have. Would definitely be a lower profile setup and would match the color of my jeep to look more 'professional'. The Lucrum kit appears to come without the lamps and the I'd have to guess that the lights they used in the video's are HID. Definitely not street legal but they'd be great on the trail. |
