| Post subject: | Life span of a synthetic winch line? |
Ok so I am still working on this synthetic winch line thing. Does the syn. winch rope have a limited number of pulls in it like climbing ropes do. They used to rate mountian climbing ropes in number of falls they could handle before you should replace them. Is Synthetic Winch Rope similar? I know climbing ropes are designed with some srping in them to absorb the shock of a fall and winch line isn't, is that the reason it is not rated the same way? |
