I just got one of these. But, there isn't any instructions with it. There are 2 wires coming out that are for the light in it. Does anyone know what battery to use? The wires just end. No battery clip or anything. Terry |

Terry They're probably rated at a nominal 12v (like most other lights in the vehicle). You'll need to have a clean body ground for the (probably) black line and something that is either switched on with key-on/accessory (like the radio power) or turned on/dimmed with the dash lights (also typically a wire in the radio harness like that). a voltmeter and a little trial/error will tell you which it is, or you can dig it out of the factory wiring manual. |

I have the one shown above. The wires are BOTH black. That really sucks! There are 2 screws on the back to make adjustments, I think. What everyone is saying is true. You don't need it. I just thought it would be interesting to see the change as you start up a steep grade. Just a toy, nothing really useful. Terry |

Hey Terry, you should have told me you were gonna by that. I literally just threw one away yesterday. Had it from my old TJ. It swivels fwd/bkwd on the mounting plate to adjust pitch. I forget how to adjust the tilt, i think it was just mount it on a level part of the dash. It was pretty interesting to watch the thingys move. I wired mine inside to the radio, so when the radio was on, it lit up. Just guessed on the wires, had no issues. But its more accurate to pay attention to how tight you start to grip the steering wheel, and how tight the exit tunnel gets. |

For a light bulb it doesn't matter what is ground and what is positive 12V. It will light up anyway. |

![]() That gauge is all messed up. Looks like somebody wacked it. You don't need all those slash marks. .......you only need 3 slash marks. 1) level 2)far enough 3)change your underwear |
