Does anyone have any first hand experience with these are a similar ""bb" product for wheel balancing?

I talked to the tire shop guy about them last time I was there. He recommends them for larger diameter tires but not for passenger tires. I asked him about the KJ (245/70 16) and he recommended not to use them for that size. His concern was with the speed that the smaller diameter tires accelerate and decelerate, making it harder for the bbs to "settle in".

Maybe someone else will add a note (who have actually used them).

I get my tires rotated and balanced every 6K, and I have been noticing that when they use their pry tool to take off the old weights, they have scratched and nicked the HE11 out of my rims!!!

I don't think that I can do anything about it, and it's not visible to the common passerby, but it makes me angry!!!
Just wish there was something that I could do about it.

they are good for large sized tires that are essentially impossible to balance otherwise

i too have looked into the dynabeads. did a good amount of searching on them and have read good things. i plan on getting them put in when i have my next group of mtr's put on since they are such a pain to keep balanced.

Unless you are running 39" or taller tires(bias ply mostly) or "G" + load range truck tires stick with normal balancing, those beads are a royal pain and don't actually balance them very well,it takes some of the shudder out is all if any.

Thats one reason I have them put on the inside of the rim. Ive never had a problem with them not being able to balance them and it keeps the rims looking good.

I believe kyliberty has them and says they do great.

just curious..why do you get them rebalanced at every tire rotation? Do you lose losts of weights during those times? Or are you finding that you are getting vibrations on your tires between rotations and need them balanceed or is it jut precautionary? I have only had to balance new tires once...maybe twice in the life of the tire...I do rotations every 6K as well, and have never needed them to be rebalanced. What kind of meats do you run that needs rebalancing every rotation?

Same here, but only in one place from the factory weights. Now, I have them mount the weights on the inside of the wheels. Not that the lugheads are less likely to scratch things up, but at least it's not a painted surface like the outsides.

I have my "lifetime balance and rotation" from Firestone place since that's where I got my revos. I'm thinking of finding a Firestone somewhere out in the country a little bit. Seems like you can't find anyone that really gives a SH1+ near a major metro area. Just too much business from undiscriminating customers to make them care if the customers notice damage.
