what's the difference... which one is better Frankenlift II: Uses OME NS131 Front Struts instead of the Rancho struts - uses Rancho shocks: $956.61 or Frankenlift II Premium Kit: Uses OME NS131 Front Struts and Uses OME132L Long Travel Rear Shocks instead of the Rancho counterparts: $996.59 |

For the slight increase in price, it is well worth it to get the OME struts and long travel shocks. The OME stuff is the best available for the KJ. |

You can see the one I went with. The reason I went that way was better quality. No regrets! Terry |

i have the very very basic frankenlift.. and i love it! it was the only one available at the time i ordered besides the CRD package. It rides great, works great offroad.. and looks awesome (IMO) I really dont know how much a difference all the upgraded parts makes since this is my first offroading vehicle.. but i dont think this is bad for the cheap package.. what difference does the better parts make?? i live by the "you get what you pay for" rule which is why i went with the frank. in the first place.. (so get the best one you can
would the long travel rear shocks allow for more flex??? (this is stuffing a 265/75 to the frankenlift bump stop on the other side of the jeep) |

Considering the Rancho's have a lifetime warranty and are cheaper, you really can't go wrong with them! I've not heard anyone actually mention if the OME N132L is any longer than the Rancho 17004. It is longer than the N132 though. I'm guessing they're about the same length. |

choice is up to you I've been running the rancho's for about 2 yrs now & no issues at all the only differance I see is the Rancho has a boot where the OME has a solid cover, I don't know on length ( can't be much differant) |

What if I just put in a clevis lift??? Would I be safe for the time being to get a new front bumper, or should I get the lift and wait for the bumper? |

if your wanting a front bumper you will need the lift first, i prolly lost a 1/4" when I had my front bumper on w/ the stock suspension, and its a good amount lighter then ARB |
