I have an 02 Liberty. Last weekend when I installed my lift I noticed the rubber boots on my original UCA's were cracked (I had al's a-arms to install with the lift). Please check your rubber boots. My Liberty doesn't get driven much and lives in the garage - I have 29,500 miles on it.

Yea, the stock upper control arms are known to suck.

I check mine every oil change. :)

So mine with 86K miles on it should prob get replaced then eh? Ill be in there swapping my Rustys coils with OME927's as soon as its warmer anyways. I have been considering the A arms but im trying to balance my free cash between Spring time Jeep projects and motorcycle projects!!! Tough choice!

Mine with almost 105k are dry-rot free. I'd imagine the cracking is from the lack of use.

Make sure to get an alignment after replacing your UCA's :)
