How long does it take for a PM to be sent

I've had one in my out box since Tue 25th.

Until they read it. Once they read it, it goes to your sent box. While it's still out, you can delete it since they haven't read it yet. That's why sometimes you'll get a message saying you have a pm but there's nothing there. Make sense?
