So I got cut off in a parking lot a couple months ago by some old lady (of course) and had to run over a 6" tall 90 degree angle curb with the left front and rear going about 7 mph. It was a pretty good thump. Luckily there was a little snow on the ground to damper things.

Ever since that day the left front steering has been off and makes a little clunk noise when I hit a bump while turning. I especially notice it at the gym in the morning because my normal spot is near a speedbump. When I leave my spot and turn left i hit the speed bump in mid turn. Always hear the noise then. It kinda feels like a looseness in the suspension.

Im wondering if it could be tie rod ends perhaps or sway bar links...? I just did the sway bar bushings so its not that.

Hoping its nothing to do with the rack!!!!!

My wife decided to go 1 on 1 with a curb in Vegas last summer. she destoyed a wheel and knocked the Jeep out of alignment. The wheel was cracked and wouldn't hold air, but I found one in a junkyard in Vegas for $100.

Once I get an alignment everything was as good as new.

My guess would be sway-bar end-links. Local dealer replaced mine under warranty right after I got my KJ and mentioned that it was a pretty common repair on them.

Do I need to jack up the front to replace these so they settle correctly or can I do remove/replace while on the ground?
