Well, I changed my own plugs today ( Bosch Platinum Fusion's) for the first time with the Liberty. Only took about an hour and was easy enough thanks to getting the proper info ahead of time from all you guys! I do have a question/concern about ol' #6 back there under the overflow bottle. There was oil on the plug and down onto the threads of the plug. it was wet. nothing on the firing tip just the threads and up the sides a bit. I need advice on what could be the cause. I will be checking it again in a week or so after putting some miles on it but thought I should ask now. BTW, this thing is running much better/smoother now, can't wait to check the MPG's! Also did a 5 tire rotation while I was getting dirty!

Couldn't hurt to try cleaning it. Spray it with carb cleaner and let it dry, and reinstall.

The coil has that really long plug on the bottom that mounts to the spark plug, well that long plug goes through the intack manifold and that gasket/o-ring may be leaking a little bit pooling oil where the plug sits. That is a common problem with that sytle of plug/coil design when they pass through the intake or valve cover.A little bit of oil is no big deal but should be taken care of before it gets to much worse.

I noticed that the seal was loose on that coil. do I need to replace the whole coil or can I get a new seal? Also, what should I expect to pay for a replacement coil if needed?

If you put some dielectric grease around the seals of the coils it should stop any oil/dirt/mud/water/etc from getting down to the spark plugs.
