Hi All, Is there such a thing as a off-road friendly car seat for little (1yr) kids? Guess I'm lookin for a little more body / head support than a normal seat. I'm not planning on going too nuts with him in the car, but would like a little more support just in case. |

There is a neck support item that they sell for use while the kids are asleep in their carseat. |

I tired that neck/head support ring and my little boy did not like it one bit. So you might have to return it. But now that he's 20 months, he actually falls asleep when we go off roading, even faster if there's a lot of rocks on the trail. Go figure. |

We use Cosco seats: Summit High Back and Alpha Omega Elite. Both come with LATCH systems and seem to be very sturdy, and we've had no problems with support for both kids (3 1/2 and 11 months). Britax all the way! Roundabout. As your child gets older, you'll be in/out a lot and that britax is very easy in/out. My son is in the Booster now and has been since we've been wheeling. The full booster has head rests for sideways protection as well. |
