If the water is moving, your vehicle can literally be washed away. And remember, the only vehicle that's really designed to handle high water is the one we call "a boat."

This is the best advise they could offer...

Especially for the people who live in San Antonio, Every time I go down there, it rains a little, floods, and viola stranded cars!!!

And no, one of those propeler hitch covers do not turn your truck into a flat bottom boat!!!

I even saw a trolling motor on the tailgate of a truck once down there!

The driver looks like he is in the middle. I want one but prefer the Bond, James Bond underwater car.

That's what shakes all the mud off. Don't they know anything? A lot of work went into the Wrangler to get it to do that...

I (and many others here) can personally vouch for the KJ's fording abilities. Jeep says it can handl 20 inches, but I've had mine in water over the headlights many times. Never a drop inside yet either (knocks on wood.)

They said it and I'll say it too, be careful when driving through deep water. You never know what's underneath the surface or how deep it really is. The best rule of thumb for water crossings is if you wouldn't feel comfortable walking through it, don't drive through it!

Most of all though, have fun! :D
