My dad has an 05 renegade and wants an evic for his b-day next weekend. I know there were some electronic changes on the later models, but I'm not sure what fits what. Theres an evic on ebay from a 2004 liberty part number 56010520AD. Will this work? I'm sorry, I know this stuff has been asked before, but I'm asking again!

Just found this on page 12 of that last link I posted: "If you want the temp readout to work on a 2004+ KJ, you need a 2004+ EVIC." Marlon later on said it doesnt have to do with the bus but the way the signal is transmitted. |

But either way, that means that the 2004 will work with the 2005. Great! Now i just need the seller to confirm that it has the little pigtail and I'm all set. Thanks! |
