I guy I know from another forum has a problem with his brake lights on an '04. Any ideas? His post: Got this 04 and just "sold" it to my neighbor. I know, I know. He's supposed to take delivery this weekend and we've discovered all three brake lights are out. Bulbs good. Fuse good. I ran a light tester in place of the fuse and NOT good. Where do I go from here? I sure as hell don't want to take it to the dealer and I would hate to have to renegotiate. Help me my brethren! |

does it have wiring for a trailer? I know my hook up I had at first messed with my lights real bad, switched it out replaced the fuses and it was OK. Hes checked everything in the fuse panel insie and the box outside? trying to think what would take everything out. let me do some thinking and reading. And just the brake lights, checked the brake light switch? |

yes brake light switch is mounted up behind the brake pedal. be careful though as it says that you can not remove the switch unless replacing it with a new one. No adjustment on them like the old ones had |

Is this kinda like "I think this friend of mine has a drinking problem. What should I do?" |

I'd have it taken to a 3rd party mechanic for resolution.. You probably don't want this coming back to you down the road. |
