Mine was a 1968 Wagoneer 4x4. It was a battleship with a Dauntless V8 (Buick). |

1985 Cherokee Chief, v6 2.8 GM self oil changing engin. 5 speed mannual. Drove it to 189,000+ miles and got 5,00 grand for it. Gold with black accents, 2 door, tire swing... GREAT car, lousy engine. Great milage but no power especially about 4,000 feet in the Cascades. Like driving a coughing turtle. |

Back in the early 80's (very early) I had a 72 CJ-5 with a 304 V-8, 4" lift running 33's. It was a monster at the time. It was red and I have kicked my self for selling it. It was a big part of the reason I bought a red Rubi. I wanted the modern tech with a smoother ride but the same type Jeep to re-live my high school days I guess...................... The KJ is my 5th Jeep with a Daystar 2-1/2" lift Rubi rims and 31's, the Rubi my 4th with way too many mods to list on here. Other Jeeps from the past have included a V-8 2000 WJ with a 2"bb and 32's, and a 78 360 V-8 Wagoneer stock. Next Jeep in line to buy is going to be a new 4 door unlimited Rubi. |

88 XJ Pioneer. It was tough and reliable. A stuck thermostat did leave me in the hills between Yakima and Ellensburg once though. |

First was a 48 CJ2A in 73 (the mountain goat, would go anywhere) , then a 57 CJ 5 , 62 FC150 ( fun but worthless for everyday) and the list continues, too many I think 13 Jeeps so far and 10 or 11 other 4 wheel drives , too much money wasted just for FUN!! |

84 XJ Pioneer I4, great in the snow but gutless. Laughed at a Highway patrol officer, pulled me over saying I was doing 75mph. |

'46 MB, took out the F head with the rod through the side and put in an L head. Than I had to elevate the rear hinges up about 2 inches to clear the higher engine and air cleaner. It had a full and half metal top. Next was a 1955 ex Coast Guard CJ5. |

This KJ is it for me! I've always wanted one, but never found one that would fit the family. Now that most of the kids are gone I grabbed the KJ. |

I'm a Jeep convert myself. I was always a car guy until the Liberty... I'll probably never buy another vehicle again. The KJ should last for the next 20 years. |
