What is the average life span of the OEM brake pads? I just went over 70K and when I had the wheels off this weekend, it looks like I still got a good 3/16 inch of pad left which surprised me a bit. I have been expecting to hear some chirp any day now.

That's a hard one to answer, everyone has different driving styles and habits. A lot of us have been running 31" - 32" tires since almost new, extra weight from modifications, ect.

I was lifted with 32's, an ARB bumper, and armor at 4,300 miles and managed to get 27,000 miles out of my front pads.

Yep, you'll be getting a bunch of really different answers to this question. My front brakes are still in great shape at 40k miles, but my rear pads were done at about half that.

104,605 miles and still all original pads/rotors/calipers etc. Still a lot to go yet but thinking at 110,000 of changing since the pads I bought 30,000 miles ago are getting mold on them sitting waiting   I have been lifted over 65000 pull a trailer on a regular basis but they are still doing great, I do watch traffic way ahead and plan my stops, and I don't ride the brakeslike you see some people do!
