this morning i was siting my my kj letting it warm up a and i herd a weird thumping noise like someone was kicking the fire wall from inside the engine bay. it wasn't a raped thump it was every few seconds. well it stopped once i put it in reverse and backed out of my driveway. and never herd it again the rest of my drive.

is this normal for cold weather? it was in the mid 30's so it wasn't really that cold.

You forgot to feed the squirrels and they were trying to let you know.

Look inside and see if you have a dead animal or debris around the engine.

I am guessing that it may be something expanding as it warms up that may be touching the firewall
