Post subject:  Great price on Reese class 3 hitch

Hey everyone I was trying to get a hitch and the best price i could find on a universal that listed the liberty was $118. So, I bought one at advance auto. Later in the day I went into work (at LOWES) and we have them in stock. I looked at the price

LOWES CLEARANCE price $44.96

Needless to say I returned the other one.

I got the hitch, a 60 x 20 cargo mount, a locking pin, and 4 new retcheting straps for $113!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most lowes should have an aisle with winches, truck toolboxes, hitch balls, usually its near lumber and tools. Its mostly there for contractors. In my store (whitehall PA) it is aisle 16 or 17 ?

I just couldnt believe the price got everything for less then advance wanted for the hitch

Reese #37053 is the Reese Version of the old Drawtite hitch 75128 which is the heavy duty one. Not too visible but here it is... Image

Edit: Actually it looks like the 44082 looks like the style which hangs lower than the Draw-Tite style

Reese 37152 is also listed as a multi fit rear hitch (cherokee, Grand, and 02-07 KJ)

6 bolts to mount the hitch. The same 6 bolts that hold the gas tank skid on. Not difficult

Hardest part is cleaning out the threads with some spray or a brush...lots grit gets up in there. Actually the bolt most inward on passenger side is obstructed by the muffler which was harder to get in then all the others.
