My front has been visibly sagging. I have a lift, but it has not put itself on yet, so...

Anyway, I usually change my oil by running it up an a shop's drive-on lift. So, the tires are still weight bearing. This time I hauled out ye ole' floorjack and did it that way. A let it down and the KJ was visibly taller. I know that this is a common occurence and that it usually settles back down very soon after you start driving it. But this was unusually taller. When my wife came home, she even asked if iI had finally put that "lift thingy" on!

Knowing it would settle, I ignored it. And ignored it. And ignored it. So, after 10 days & nearly 300 miles, it is still sitting pretty. You can actually see all of the top of the front tread without bending down, which you could not do before.

Why was the front sagging THAT much before, and why is it not returning to "normal?" There was nothing visibly out of place in the suspension and no noises before or after. I know, no big whoop but it is just strange to me.

Crap, talk about leaving yourself wide open...........

I am going to go patent the "mysterious Eastern floor jack treatment" for sagging wives right now.

Everything appears to be normal, it tracks straight before & after, there are no unusual noises. Going down the road nothing appears to be wrong.Oh well. I'll just ignore it & hope for the best.

Nice work with the KJ InCommando, now onto the floor jack. I'm wondering if a floor jack can do that, what will my high lift do :?: :D
