Evic Retainer?

is the EVIC for a KJ the same as a WJ. I have one from a WJ and I dont know if it just doesnt fit right or what but I got my evic installed and now the headliner doesnt sit exactly how it did before?

NO ONE KNOWS HUH HAHAHA WELL I DONT EVEN KNOW I KNOW IT IS IN THERE BUT THE HEADLINER DOESNT LOOK RIGHT LIKE ITS BEING PUSHED DOWN AND NOW I CANT SCREW MY VISOR CLIPS BACK ON. IT LOOKS GOOD THO...ILL GET SOME PICS OF WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT MAYBE THAT WILL HELP EVERYONE>?

The evics from wjs are the same ones from kjs, so there shouldnt be any difference there. Did your jeep have the black plastic part on the steel above headliner? If not, its supposed to, and that could be the problem. But, I dont even think you'd be able to fasten the evic up there without the black retainer. some pics might help.

i have the black reatainer but it doesnt fit right? maybe I just didnt place it right? who knows Ill try to get pics. Just wondered if the black plastic part is the same in the KJ and the WJ because I have the WJ one and it doesnt seem to fit correctly.

oh, im not sure about the plastic part. i thought you were asking whether the actual evic was the same or not. i have the plastic retainer part number at home, i'll try to remember to put it up here when i get home.
