I got well over an inch at the fender? I remember someone saying the 3/4" spacers look the same as the 1 1/2"? My rear WAS 1 1/2" higher than the front. Good thing I did not add the 1/2" plate with it. Do the poly spacers settle any? Maybe the actual lift depends on if its a pre-low or not? Mine is a 2002 pre-low Gave me that extra wheel well room I was looking for. http://rustysoffroad.com/Merchant2/merc ... sus_kj_par |

Pre-lower or lowered dosen't make a difference with spacers. |

"It is the exact same size as the spacer used in the frankenlift which I believe is the daystar 1.5" spacer. Pre-lower or lowered dosen't make a difference with spacers." It don't matter Eddo, but you know my KJ is flakey I think I got an experimental version. I got about 1 1/4" lift from the 3/4 spacer measured at the top inside of the fender well. (onlevel ground) Top of inside fender well is 33 1/2" with 245/70/16's with 33lbs pressure. It do make it ride better though |

Not anymore. I guess you could cut a bigger spacer down. You can take your springs to a spring shop, have them heat them and add whatever lift you want...A lot cheaper than these other options!! Or you can add these: http://rustysoffroad.com/Merchant2/merc ... sus_kj_par Basically you could add the 1/2 spacer plates and the 3/4 polys to the front and come close to 1 3/4 to 2" for about $60 including shipping and remove the rear springs and take them to a shop for about another $60. So it cost you $120 for close to a 2" lift. at $75 per shock/strut, spacers, spring stretch, strut installation and alignment, you have 2" and a better ride for About $570 installed. The more work you do or shock prices can save you more. If you have someone else install your struts they'll be glad to install the spacers for free since they are already in there. They will charge you for an alignment too. If they won't do it for free then they are plain CROOKS! The back you should really have no problem with yourself. |

ok, so those springs are 2 in springs for the rear of the kj. Does anyone have those? do they sag really bad with a boat or something? I tow from time to time and have many heavy things in the jeep/boat, so i need good strong spings. Would the jeep look stupid if i put those .75in spacers in the front and then got those rustys springs? Could i do the clevis lift to help bring the front up some more? |

I can say this: If the springs lift your rear 2" and the .75 poly spacer along with the 1/2" plates lift you almost 2" in the front, there you go. I guess you could save $60 by doing the clevis instead of the poly spacer and steel plates. I'm just not a Clevis fan. I really don't think the spings will sag that bad plus you'll still be nose down after the complete lift. When you say "Does anyone have those? ". Do you mean anyone on this board using them or se vende? If you mean for sale...the link in above post^^^ Things to consider: Do you have a Pre-low, whats your goal, whats the intended use, how much do you wanna spend? I'll probably get eatin alive for this post. P.S. Jeepster, if you bought those spacers from renny, your saving $$ allready. |

well, its a 2004 so its lowered. So would those rustys springs really give me 3in of lift? I really like what u said, ill get spacers for the front with the plates, and the rear 2in springs. Would it be ok it keep stock shocks or not? I do take it off roading, but nothing really crazy, and i just like the look of a lifted jeep. What do u mean if i bought those spacers from renny, whats renny? There only $20. And i meant does anyone on this board have them, and how do u they with towing and things. |

Someone was selling a pair of Poly's, I thought you might have bought them, guess not. No, the springs will only lift 2 inches |

| Post subject: | little lift |
Mine is a prelow, I only added the poly front spacers. I'm not a big suspension lift fan. Body lift and larger tires for me please. Shocks "off roading, but nothing really crazy". They will work, but you have to decide. They could top out if you articulate. If you have factory shocks...get rid of them. |

so u didnt do anything to the rear at all? Im not a big lift fan either. Just wanting a little lift just like urs, except im wanting to do the rear also. So i guess ill get what u did plus the plate with the rear springs. Ill try the stock shocks and see how they do. Can u tell a difference in the ride with the pucs? Ive heard the rear spings actually make it ride better. I guess where they are longer making them alittle softer? |

The pucs make it feel better to me. You gotta get rid of the factory shocks if you want a MAJOR diff in handling. At least go with monroe sensatrac if you don't want to foot the bill for Rancho's, Reflex, Eldebrock, and others. Mine is just right for me and my application, again if I had any other purpose I would not have a KJ !! ( my opinion) You spend way too much money for very little pumkin clearance on a nimble vehicle. Then go out and tear it up. More cost effective for me to have a Jag and a Wrangler for any other purpose. |
