Jeep lowered the Liberty an inch for the 2003 model year maybe even for 2002. One of the KJ know it alls want to chime in on this? |

Pre-Lowered - Early 2002 model KJs were 3/4" taller than lowered KJs, they were manufactured before April 2, 2002. Lowered KJ - KJs were lowered 3/4" after April 2, 2002. This was done to help lower the chances of accidental roll-overs. |

How were they lowered (which components were altered)? Is there any way to get the original (3/4" taller) components from the dealership?
