Has anyone installed a magnefine filter into their fluid cooler line in order to prolong auto tranny life? (I drive the 6 speed manual, but just put the magnefine filter on my '06 3.3 town and country minivan. Simple install, and I hope it will improve tranny longevity).
Any issues down the road?
Thanks! :D

If you have the 45RFE or the 545RFE(CRD's) you already have 2 tranny filters, one for the cooler return line(looks like a regular oil filter).

I think it is a fine idea and decent product. I used one in a truck a few years ago and feel it was worth the peace of mind.

That's great that they put those on there. Just out of curiosity, what is the recommended change interval on those filters in the owners manual? (I know tjkj2002 you are fastidious with your maintenance. Do you ever/ how often do you change out those filters?).
I do drive the stick, so it is just curiosity....
Thanks :D

By my '02 owners manual the tranny and filters should be changed every 30,000miles.I do a tranny flush every 15,000miles and the filters at every 30,000miles( every 2nd tranny flush).
