when iwas installing the switch for my PIAA reverse light kit, on my jeep on the right side of the steering wheel, when i pulled off that little trim piece, i noticed there was a spot for a switch, and there is a wire/plug under the dash that would go to that location it looked like. i was just curious what would have gone there, whatever it is, i dont have it, i was just curious

i too noticed the same thing many moons ago, i guess i just dissmissed it. I also found a few harnesses under the dash while uninstalling my remote started that i'd never seen before.

Jeep gremlins?

Is it possible that those are the wires for the steering wheel remote buttons? Perhaps they are "pre-loaded". I came up with this becasue I have the steering wheel buttons, but I've never seen those wires or harnesses you're referring to.
