may be it isn't just you

i just want to look how it is built the front end and take meassures from the images. I just broke my front bumper, i need a new one and the liberator's look so good to me.

Other thing i want to look is the drop cage they built to lift it.

So you are getting yourself in deep, a cradle drop is tricky, the front bumper is not available, as a matter of fact noone knows where that KJ is. Its probably scrapped, since concept cars have no vin #'s. , If you need to lift your KJ stay on this forum and you will see you have many options, even info on SFA if your pocket allows. If you need a bumper take a look at the bumper thread you might find one that fits your needs.

They used different spindles, and a whole slew of tricks to lift it, a pne off for sure. Bumper could be made if you have the time and a welder, go for it

Prototypes and one-off show vehicles do not.The Liberator does not have a VIN,nor does the Hurricane, both have to be crushed.

no VIN saw the Liberator up close and personal and no VIN , also most vehicles that magazines trick out are crushed due to liability issues and even some of them have no real VINs

I have noticed that on the pics of the liberator they made 35" tires (actually 34.56") fit inside the front wheel wells. Does anyone have an idea on how they where able to acheive this? Could have they moved the front drive assembly forward in order to make some room around the pinch weld area...

yes and moved the rear back some 3 inches plus made new rear flares to make it all look stock.
you could try and make one look similar but unless you have very deep pockets ( full of money) the it owuld be hard to make one just the same.

I have installed a drop cradle before, a 4" lift for a Nissan, and I think the liberty is better suited for a drop cradle, because every thing is attached to it, in the nissan I had to put a lot more parts to separate everything from the pumpkin, anyway I'm far from such journey I will go first with ome, I was just looking for informational pourposes .
On the bumper side, its more than just the bumper, its the line up of the front grille with the bumper and the flares, I will need tu cut the grille to form a single line as 2005-up libertys, thats 2" up and then put the bumper and thats a good front angle!, from the bumper tread I really like better the Liberator bumper. I have a welder and by now I'm finishing my sliders then who knows what i can build .
