I own a 2006 Jeep Liberty-Sport model with the 3.7 engine and Auto. A week ago, the malfunction lamp came on. The dealer replaced the BCM. Now I've noticed the Red lamp stays on and flickers when the doors are locked and parked. Is this normal. I know other cars from Ford, Honda and Gm do this but our 2006 Grand Cherokee does not. I never noticed before.

The sentry key only works for the first 30 seconds of when a vehicle is started. If the frequency codes match, the KJ will keep running. If not - the KJ won't run after 30 seconds. There is an alarm light that flashes every 13 seconds when the KJ is off (if you ordered the sentry key). |
