I rattle can painted the holes after I drilled them two years ago. Just took them off and they had some rust, not alot. I'm using the POR15 that I repainted my sliders with and recoating the mounting area including the pinch weld.

When I had mine on I drilled all the holes, test fitted and then removed and painted everything and let it dry and then mounted them, after 3 weeks of having them on, I removed them/sold them and no rust :wink:
