I need a good close-up shot of the front of a KJ without the bumper. An 05 would be best.

Hey here are some of my 07, which is pretty much the same as an 05.

With the ARB mounting plate on, sorry:

Thanks, that is pretty much what I wanted. I wanted to get some ideas on a bumper made with pipe. A pipe running across the top and another across the bottom, meeting around by the tires. Put a decent steel plate between with tow points. It seems like it could be kept extremely close to the body that way.

Here is a website that shows a front hitch install. It has a couple of VERY good frontal shots. It also has a shot from the same angle WITH the bumper and grill on. So you can photochop the bumper and grill, lay it over the front pciture without a bumper. Then you can erase the top layer a little at a time to see what cutting away bumper exposes, etc.

I have it set up this way in a PSD file and I play with it that way sometimes.

You forgot the link, rescu.

The instructions page on detoursusa.com for the KJ Backbone has a pretty good frontal shot and some other close-ups.

Unfortunately I don't have acess to Photochop. I would also need side views. What I was thinking of would kind of look like the letter "D" with the flat side on top. Of cource it wouldn't drop that much either. Bent to follow the lines of the KJ.
