Friend of mine just got a 2005 Limited. I noticed right away that it looked higher than my 2003 Renegade. He's got 17" wheels with 65 series tires verses my 16" wheels and 70 series. So I measured total diameter of each and there doesn't seem to be a difference there. I then measured the ground clearance from bottom of the front fender right behind the front wheel. The 2005 is 1.5" higher than my Renegade. The back is the same. That really pissed my off since when I am in deep sand I hear my skid plate in the front hit bottom a lot. Basically when you look at my 2003, the front is lower than the back but on the 2005, front is as high as the back. Anyone know if they changed the ground clearance measurement? |
