So my front diff is going to be stripped on Monday to find out which part needs to be replaced (under warranty), I've had the same problems as Jerbacher & Trailman (perhaps not as bad  ). But bad enought for them to say no highway speeds and a big no for 4x4 action.

I've heard of these parts but don't know what they do or exactly where they are, the fella at Jeep did say the bearing was at the front of the shaft output area at the back of the diff (you can see it move when you shake the front drive shaft), that's where he said it is. So the bearing probably holds the 1/2 shaft in position while it turns but what to the other things do..

I'm also told this could mean the KJ's off the road for 2 day's or up to 3 weeks (if no parts in Aust)
