Hi all, I have not posted in a while because iv been jobless for a bit and having trouble finding anything here in Toledo so i'm looking at moving to Nashville where I know some people that I can stay with until I get a place of my own. Iv never actually been there before but iv heard and read that the economy is doing pretty good there but Id like to hear some opinions from people that have either been their or live there. Thanks.

I used to live in Memphis and we'd visit Nashville fairly often. Good place. I'd live there. Good luck with the job hunt.

Cool, I'm getting pretty excited about it considering I actually got a call from there about job openings which hasn't happened for anything I'v applied to here in Toledo. Don't worry my Northern Brothers, I will still call it pop and not soda.

You lived in Memphis too eh?

Sean, good luck. I've been to Nashville a few times. Like any other good-sized city some parts are a bit rough, but it's generally pretty nice down there. Also doesn't get as muggy in the summer as it does in Memphis IIRC.

What kind of work are you in? Generally, the Southeast has not been hit as hard by economic conditions as the midwest, but it depends on your field.
