I have a 04 Sport it feels like the 4wd is still engaged, any one else ever have this problem or any ideas of what it could be?

*maybe it (4WD) is engaged ???
*check to make sure the calipers are not sticking, could be even one that would put a big drag on it.
*check tire pressure
I know some common sense things but you never know

4wd is in off position and light is off not that that means anything, had brakes done not to long ago, and tire pressure is ok.

Problem solved Bill. You have a Command-Trac In yours and the drive shaft should spin constantly as you don't have manual locking hubs like my CJ7. SO its all set. You drag must be cause by another issue. Or your just crazy :shock:

Rear brake calipers are known to stick and freeze up. Hot brake pads smell like hot asphalt.
