Ok, if I get off the highway and coast to a stop, once in a while when I hit the gas it seems the tranny takes a second to catch. Not quite slipping but almost as if it didn't shift down yet. Rarely happens but at 120,000 and intending to keep it, I'm wondering if I'm developing a tranny problem.

Does it make a loud clunk when you shift from park to reverse or drive?

Nope, no clunks and always shifts smooth on the highway and around town. Just seems to "miss" once in a rare moment almost always when I go from a coast to stop then to an acceleration.

Same thing on mine from time to time, 29,520 miles

Could be a software glitch with the gear selector and not actually a real problem.

Probably that particular instance is causing the sensors to "forget" what they need to do for a moment.

Did each of those once about a year or so ago.
I was thinking about getting a tranny power flush but was afraid I would cause more problems then solved.

Indeed it would. Given the information in your other post about the flush.

With your mileage approaching 120K and no previous history of a power flush. The system would probably flush all of the loose clutch material right out of your transmission and cause even more slipage and overheating.

Your best bet is changing the fluid by dropping the pan (some new fluid is better than no new fluid.) I'd do this before winter hits. And then just enjoy the ride and hopefully your transmission stays intact for the next 100K miles or more.
