I like mine but it is not like the push bars that the police cruisers use to push you to the side of the road: http://www.waag.com/showroom/106.php |

I like it! Thanks for posting, I've never seen them like that before. I emailed them, asked if they had plans on releasing a KK model soon. |

would really mess with the limited ground clearance you already have in the front, to me its a nice poser piece...... nothing more! |

Kinda agree, really does not look good at all, plus if you did hit something that guard will bend like cooked noodles and cuase more damage then if it was not on there. But it's his money and can do what ever he wants.

Yeah I was thinking that too, looks like the sides would just collapse in and be a pita. Its cool cuz its different, but I'm not tryin' to lose any ground clearance with an already lil lib anyways. |

Well I really like mine and it has protected my bumper from people damaging it... it is designed exactly for that purpose. It is better than any of the full height guards that simply bend into the hood area doing further damage as stated here. It is not a push bar to push cars off the road but I trust it may work in a bind. I also just picked up the ARB Bull Bar but have no immediate plans to swap the Waag out due the fact that I will have to install the lift and then do an alignment as well. That may change in future but I don't off road and only drive on gravel roads and ski mountain roads so I guess I am a poser but I would think that even the regular off roaders would only spend less 5% of the clocked odometer off pavement Waag also has one for the rear but I figure any impact back there would damage the spare before it is contacted. |

the very reason i build mine when i first got the jeep i put 2 of the plastic plate holders on as replacements apparently to park in california you pull into the spot then back into the car parked behind you then pull up a little so on went the metal plate holder it has been hit like 3 times already It holds up better than the plastic holder
