What's the proper gapping for spark plugs (2005 3.7L). Just picked some new plugs up from the stealership and want to ensure that they are gapped properly.

My '02 Limited (3.7) says 0.040 -- Of course when I checked the Denso Iridiums I recently installed, I didn't have to bother gapping, they were perfect.

Do not go by what a plug company says,go by what is printed on the emission sticker under your hood(on the radiator upper support).

Oh and just remember to use a plastic/composite gapper on platnuim and iriduim plugs or you will ruin them, and those +2/+3/+4 junk plugs you can not gap at all.
