Have any of ya'll taken advantage of the miles of freedom plan? Lately I have been considering the purchase of a new KJ. Then this weekend Jeep sweetens the deal by offering 2 years gas, a couple of oil changes, and a 60k mile warranty. Has anyone gotten the details yet (how does the free gas work, etc...)? I wonder if this is in addition to other rebates or in lieu of other rebates? Of course the sales folks I talked to on Saturday knew nothing of this plan  !!

This in-lieu of cash rebates, but the free gas is just a $2,400 debit card that you can use any way you want. If you find a dealer willing to deal this could be a windfall. I got mine at over $1700 below invoice with the employee price and $1000 cash back. Most dealers will always give you invoice so I've already missed some cash to the tune of at least $700. Of course, I had a trade so that would have gone down more. Go to jeepwarehouse.com and option and price one you want, print it out, and take it to the local dealer, jeepwarehouse.com always quotes slightly below invoice (usually about $500). They may match and then you get the $2400 debit card AND extended warranty and service. Or if you can, just get it from jeepwarehouse (it's in Kokomo, IN also known as Polo Jeep) |
