spend $25, get a can of taillight spray tint. and a can of good clear for $5. Clean very good and de-grease the light. wet sand with 400-600 grit. mask off what you dotn want to paint, or dont mask anything and tint the whole thing. looks very good... as you can see. also look at the turn signal and bumper reflector. and you can still see the yellow and red just fine when the lights are on. If you can send me your lenses, my shop can do it for like $65... that includes shipping back to you and materials. PM me if anyone is interested.

They have them on Ebay all the time, the latest thing is a smoked gray lense which looks similar to carbon fiber but a different look. I kind of liked them and am considering buying. I usually go to Ebay Motors and type in "Jeep Liberty" in the "Parts and Accessories" section. This way you have a wide variety of stuff to search thru and these always come up a few times. Good Luck! |

VHT makes what you are looking for it is called Nite Shades Part number on the can is SP-999. JEGS in Columbus Ohio and also Summit Racing in Akron Ohio area both carry it. They both cover the whole U.S. Just call them and tell them what you need. I got a 7 oz. can and did all my taillights,(covered the whole thing) front parking lights and brake light with some left over. I did not clear them just keep them waxed good. I think cost was 10 or 12 bucks last year. |

It does look very cool, but check the laws in your area. I know here in Texas dark covers or tint on your lights is illegal and they will ticket you. Same thing in Maryland, DC and Virginia. I'm not sure about other states. |

The H-town 5.O seem to let it slide, so long as it is not over the top. I want just darlk enough to match my smoked clears up front which isn't extreme. On that norte, it's freaking 80 something in Corpus at the end of November. Gonna go jump in the pool LOL! |

Here is the company that has the Carbon fiber tail lights. I picked up a set last week on e-bay. I haven't installed them yet, but they look to be good quality lights. http://stores.ebay.com/yishiau_W0QQcolZ ... idZ2QQtZkm They aren't on his website so you'll have to call or e-mail. |
