well, p0121 could be one of two things,

TPS Voltage does not agree with Map-TPS signal does not correlate to MAP sensor signal

or

Accelerator position sensor signal voltage is too low-APPS voltage input below minimum acceptable voltage

TPS-Throttle position sensor
MAP-Manifold Absolute Pressure
APPS-Accelerator Position Sensor

Basically, you have something electrical or a bad sensor reading

This info is from the 'o2 Liberty Service manual

Thanks the info, what you said makes sence. the light comes on after i pass another vehicle or anytime i push the throttle deep. it normally clears after about 40 miles and a restart. tonight however the engine would die when i had to come to a complete stop and low and behold i ran into accident traffic on the way home with a 6 mile backup that was quite frustrating. after it was cutting off i realized throttle postion sensor could be going bad because i have had one go out on another vehicle before.
Good news is it that it is under warranty and the dealer can diagnose the root cause.
Thanks again

well, TPS and MAP sensors are easy fixes, looks easy on the lib, probably spendy though...

I remember on my old GNX, the TPS went out all the time... due to certain mods  about $25 each, Dealer price
